Description
In July 1916, the Allied suffered more than 8,000 casualties in less than 24h in Fromelles. 250 bodies of British and Australian soldiers were found on the site of the battle in 2009. The opening of a museum, and, mainly , of a CWGC cimetery make the place dedicated to remembrance.
After a short stop for lunch at leasure, you ll learn about the involvment of the 4th Australian Division in Bullecourt on 1917, April 11th and May 4th. A moving day. Return to Lille.
